Zealand - Good Good Father - BTS
One of the more fun projects I've gotten to do in the last year was a music video for a song called Good Good Father by Zealand Worship. Late one summer night I got a call saying "Hey, Phil Joel from the Newsboys has a new band and needs a music video in 5 days, can you do that?". I quickly gathered the information on schedule/budget, listened through the track a few times, and started working on a treatment. Originally we played with the idea of a narrative arc to the video but decided it was too complicated in the timeframe we had.
Here's the Behind the Scenes where I show you how we made it all happen.
Overall it was a crazy crunch to get everything sorted out in the few days we had, but I think we created a pretty cool product. I couldn't have done it without my crew. Aaron, Jeff, Sed, Andrew, and Jonathan all made this thing possible.
Here's the final video!
What do you find most difficult about shooting music performances?
